About Angela

My work is rooted in a simple belief: how we respond to people during difficult moments matters. Whether working with individuals, leaders, or institutions, I am drawn to helping people navigate complexity with clarity, accountability, and care.

Over the past 14+ years, I have worked across counseling, violence prevention, higher education administration, civil rights, faculty, and institutional leadership. My career has included direct service with survivors of violence, teaching and mentoring future helping professionals, leading institutional response systems, and advising organizations through complex challenges. These experiences have shaped both how I think and how I approach my work today.

As a first-generation college graduate, my perspective is also informed by my own lived experiences and the transformative impact that individuals and institutions can have on people's lives. I bring a human-centered approach to every engagement, grounded in the belief that stronger leaders, stronger systems, and stronger trust create the conditions for meaningful and lasting change. That belief continues to guide both my work and the partnerships I build.
